Here are 10 steps to help you buy the perfect gift without the stress of last-minute shopping:
How Bible Scrolls are Made
For years Bible Scrolls have inspired and motivated people. We believe God’s Word is the most powerful tool to help people excel in daily living and overcome the challenges that are inherent with everyday life. In 1997, approximately seventeen Bible Scrolls were created for a few friends and family. The popularity quickly spread and the scrolls have now been given to family and friends across the world.
The beautiful handmade paper comes from the remote mountains of Northern Thailand. Over 600 years ago the Karen Hilltribe people found a remarkable bark that naturally peeled from the trunk of a tall broad-leafed tree. So began the craft of making natural paper without destroying or cutting down trees. This industry has helped the native Hilltribe families have a source of income and a reason to help save and not deplete these tall beautiful mountain trees.
The people who make Bible Scrolls™ work together, to encourage family, friends, associates, loved ones and anyone seeking God’s truth. The personalized verses are often read out loud, along with whispered prayers for the recipient of the Scroll. Once the print is complete, the paper is torn by hand, symbolizing Matthew 27:51,
“Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom and the earth quaked and the rocks were split.” The cross, which is sewn by hand, has a knot around it representing 2 Corinthians 1:21-22, “Now He who established us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.”
It is our pleasure to bring this personalized Scripture art from God’s Word to you. We pray that the words in your Bible Scroll will penetrate your heart, change your circumstances bringing hope, joy, and encouragement.
“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than a two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
The Amazing Benefits of Bible Study
There is a reason the Bible is the #1 best-selling book of all time – something special happens when you study it for yourself! I don’t mean simply skimming through the pages. I mean seriously studying the Scriptures – seeking to know God, His ways, and what He wants for your life.
Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
There are many best-selling books from motivational and sci-fi, to self-help and mystery, but none are alive! They do not divide soul and spirit. They can’t judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. They are good for entertainment and contain great information, but they can’t reach into your mind and become a lamp for your feet and a light for your path (Psalm 119:105) giving you a personal infusion from God Himself!
Conflicts occurring in our culture challenge Christians to know God’s Word. If you don’t really know what you believe, anyone can distort the truth, and lead you in a direction counter to God’s Word and His will for your life. If the Devil distorted scripture to promote His own agenda (Matthew 4:1-11) with Jesus, we certainly can expect the same to happen to us.
If you believe God’s Word is true, seek to know what it says, what it means, and how to apply it to your life. Make a firm decision on what you believe – not based on your own feelings or culture, but based on the Word of God on the One in whom you believe – Jesus Christ. Continue Reading…
